John Waardenburg of Waardenburg Support BV has been advising on public lighting projects for 25 years. He has been working independently for 5 years and has several municipalities as clients, including the municipality of Vlissingen. He advises them on new construction and renovation projects, including the phasing out of conventional light sources. Due to the expected phasing out of certain light sources, 600 traditional, energy-inefficient lighting sources in Vlissingen had to be replaced with LED. Fortunately, since the fixtures are less than 15 years old, it was not necessary to renew the entire fixture. That would obviously not be cost-efficient or sustainable.
There are several parties that have developed a unit for the Altra, the type of fixture that has illuminated many streets of Vlissingen for years. As an advisor it is of course important to make the best choice. John already knew Industria from the past, but he met again at a trade fair. After a good conversation with Industria, the quotation was made. In addition to the good quality and price of the Altra LineaireLed Module, there was also a 'click' between Industria and the municipality of Vlissingen. Industria is proud to supply the modules for this beautiful project!
In the meantime, all 600 units have been replaced by electrical installation company Propema. Quickly and easily on location, which saves time and costs. That is also a big advantage of the Industria modules!
John was very pleased that he could inform the Vlissingen board that the project was completed successfully with this energy-saving, cost-efficient and sustainable solution.
