We introduce you to our new Industria acquisition 'Kegel Cumulus'. A modern-looking post-top luminaire that reminds you of the quality of the beloved, trusted and admired Kegel 2000 from Industria. A new icon for public lighting that equals the proven quality of the old guard and is suitable for use in urban environments such as (indoor) urban roads, parking lots, cycle paths, back paths, squares, etc.
We started the development of 'Kegel Cumulus' with the well-thought-out strengths, quality and durability of the Kegel 2000 in mind, but adapted and supplemented to the possibilities and requirements of today.
The new 'Kegel Cumulus' excels in comfort, just like the old Kegel 2000. We use the linear LED unit developed and manufactured by Industria itself. This evokes the image of the old familiar PL lamp. In combination with the special translucent shield, optimal comfort is guaranteed. This translucent shield provides a calm and attractive appearance during the day. In the evening/night situation, the light is distributed in an effective and efficient manner.
Our linear LED solution is equipped with refractions that direct the light where desired. Naturally, 'Kegel Cumulus' is supplied with the latest LED and driver technologies and the fixture can be equipped with dimming and/or a Zhaga-D4i connector for smart lighting applications. Extremely carefully chosen materials ensure that 'Kegel Cumulus' has a long lifespan.
Sustainable and circular
At the start of the new Industria organization, Sustainability and Circularity were embraced and laid down in the vision as the foundation for a good future. The introduction of 'Kegel Cumulus' is a good time to announce our intentions to support the circular economy and our delivery guarantees¹. During the design phase, the amount of raw materials used was taken into account. This sometimes results in different, more minimalistic choices than were made in the past.
Industria supports the social labor market
In addition, Industria is a covenant partner of MVO Westland (Corporate Social Responsibility Westland), with which we advocate a healthy and social labor market in Westland. Industria has entered into a partnership with 'Patijnenburg' for the production of the fixtures. This is an organization that has been committed for decades to guiding people who are at a distance from the labor market into work.
¹ Industria undertakes, in order to maximize the technical lifespan, to be able to supply the various parts of the luminaires or an alternative for that specific part at least ten years after the last official deliveries.
